Shanna Young knipte zonder pardon haar lange lokken af tijdens de weging voor UFC Vegas 64 morgen. Zo voorkwam de vechter dat zij als vijfde te zwaar zou worden gewogen.

Maar liefst vier UFC vechters waren vandaag te zwaar op de weging voor UFC Vegas 64. Een record aantal wat nog niet eerder voor is gekomen. Om te voorkomen dat zij aan moest sluiten bij de dikbuikjes knipte Young zichzelf haar lokken af.

Young treft Miranda Maverick in het voorprogramma van het UFC event in Las Vegas. Overigens haalde young net aan het verlangde gewicht in haar derde poging.
